Kabel skrętkowy S/FTP podwójnie ekranowany nadaje się do instalacji w sieciach komputerowych, telefonicznych, systemach CCTV itp., które narażone są na zakłócenia elektromagnetyczne. Zastosowanie ekranu minimalizuje ryzyko zakłóceń, które mogą występować np. przy ułożeniu kabla we wspólnym korytku z kablem prądowym. Posiada powłokę zewnętrzną LSZH. Kabel spełnia wymagania norm okablowania strukturalnego: ISO/IEC 11801, EN 50173, EIA/TIA 568-C.2.
