Ten kontroler TM221 należy do gamy sterowników Modicon M221 Logic. Posiada 16 logicznych wejść/wyjść i jest zasilany napięciem stałym 24 V. Dostarczany jest z wymiennymi blokami zacisków śrubowych do podłączenia wejść/wyjść, wyjmowanym blokiem zac isków śrubowych do podłączenia zasilania, baterią podtrzymującą BR2032 oraz kablem do podłączenia wejść analogowych. Sterowniki logiczne M221 mają trzy typy zintegrowanych portów komunikacyjnych: Ethernet, łącze szeregowe RS 232/RS 485 oraz po rt programowania USB mini-B. Umożliwia sterowanie prostymi maszynami. Możliwości sterowników logicznych M221 można zwiększyć dzięki ofercie modułów rozszerzających Modicon TM3.
